Spotify India Deletes Several Hindi Songs

   

Spotify is one of the most popular music platform all across the world.  The music streaming platform has millions of listeners and  the Spotify App is one of the most downloaded music app world wide. Recently Spotify removed many Indian songs from its playlists and this has irked many Indian Spotify users. The tracks that have been removed belong to one of India’s biggest music company Zee Music which has a vast collection of hit bollywood songs, independent songs and devotional songs. According to sources Spotify India could not strike the licensing deal with Zee Music Company due to which the songs had to be removed from spotify. Ardent music listeners have vented out there anger at Spotify India for removing their favorite tracks from the playlists. Spotify has confirmed that it is working on the solution to bring back all the tracks from Zee Music once both the companies agree on a deal.
