Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha Storyline Music Starcast
Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha is one of the most successful hindi movie of 1998. It stars real life couple Ajay Devgan and Kajol in lead roles. Vijay Anand, Kashmeera Shah, Om Puri, Harish Patel, Reema Lagoo and Anjaan Shrivastava are also among the starcast in the movie. This movie is written and directed by Anees Bazmee. Story of the film goes like this….
Sanjana (Kajol) lives in Paris, France with her uncle (Harish Patel). She loves Rahul (Bijay Anand) and is set to marry him. Rahul has to go on business trip to India. Sanjana also decides to accompany him but her fear of flying takes over her and she boards off the plane. Rahul after several days of reaching India calls up Sanjana and tells her that he is in love with another girl named Nisha (Kashmeera Shah) and will not come back to marry her. Sanjana is angered by this and wants Rahul back at all cost. She boards on flight to India. Shekhar (Ajay Devgan) is passenger sitting next to her. He realizes Sanjana’s fear of flying and diverts her attention. Shekhar is a thief and is carrying an expensive diamond necklace that he had stolen from Paris. He keeps the necklace in Sanjana’s bag to escape from the police and customs. When the plane boards in India Sanjana’s bag is stolen. Shekhar decides to stay close to Sanjana to keep a watch on Necklace.
Shekhar and Sanjana travel together to Shekhar’s village and spend time with Shekhar’s family. Shekhar starts likng Sanjana but does not reveal his feelings to her.
Sajana tells Shekhar that she is carrying the necklace that Shekhar wanted. Sanjana and Shekhar decide to help each other. Shekhar accompanies Sanjana to Palam beach where Rahul is spending time with Nisha. He pretends to be Sanjana’s boyfriend. Sanjana in the process realizes that she too has started liking Shekhar. She also decides to hide her feelings.
Sanjana comes to know that Shekhar has stolen the necklace for the surgery of his nephew. Inspector Khan (Om Puri) is after Shekhar as he knows Shekhar has stolen the necklace. He tells Sanjana that he does not wants to harm Shekhar and just wants the necklace. Sanjana decides to help Shekhar arrange for the money required for surgery without telling Shekhar. She hands over the necklace to Inspector Khan and asks her boss to convert her own francs to rupees and send to India. She tells Shekhar that she has sold the necklace and the money required for surgery has been arranged. Inspector Khan discloses to Shekhar about Sanjana’s sacrifice for Shekhar. Shekhar manages to stop Sanjana’s flight from taking off and confesses his love for her. Sanjana too emotionally confesses her love and the two unite as fellow passengers feel happy for the two.
