Jeetendra is one of the most popular actor 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. His real name is Ravi Kapoor. Jeetendra literally ruled bollywood in 80’s and gave a number of blockbuster movies.  He started his career with the movie Geet Gaya Patharon Ne.  He tasted success with the movie Farz in which he was paired with Babita. The movie became an outstanding hit and opened the doors of success for Jeetendra.

He was a mega star in the 8o’s and gave blockbusters like Himmatwala, Tohfa, Sanjog, Mawali etc. His pairing with Sridevi and Jaya Prada was highly fruitful for the success of movie. Jeetendra is also known as Jumping Jack for his unique dancing style. He often used to wear white T-Shirt, Pant and Shoes which became his trademark style.

He worked in the movie Parichay under the direction of famous writer and director Gulzar. This is one of his most memorable movie. Jeetendra is married to Shobha Kapoor. He is a successful businessman, he is the chairman of Balajee Telefilms established by his daughter Ekta Kapoor. His son Tushar Kapoor is also a bollywood actor.
