Ishq Vishq Pyaar Vyaar Completes Two Decades

Ishq Vishq Pyaar Vyaar famous romantic comedy movie with youngsters as lead actors has completed two decades since it was released in the year 2003. This youth oriented romantic movie starred Shahid Kapoor, Amrita Rao, Shenaz Treasurywala and Vishal Malhotra in the lead. This was also the debut movie of actor Shahid Kapoor. According to producer Ramesh Turrani Shahid Kapoor was selected to play the lead role after he featured in the popular music video “Aankhone Mein Tera Hi Chehra” sung by Aryans , popular band of 90’s . Shahid who looked very young that time, worked on his body to look mascular and manly for playing the lead role in the movie. His work in the movie was highly appreciated. The movie also stars Satish Shah, Neelima Azim, Yash Tonk and Vivek Vaswani in supporting roles. This entertaining bollywood movie is directed by Ken Ghosh who was famous for making catchy music videos in the 90’s. Ramesh Turrani and Kumar Turrani owner of Tips music produced this love triangle movie. The story and concept of this movie was very fresh and great work by young actors charmed the audiences to the theatre. Melodious music was also one the unique selling point of this movie. Anu Malik composed all the songs for the movie. Kumar Sanu and Alka Yagnik added their magic touch to the songs with their melodious voice. This movie was loved by the masses specifically the youth. Shahid Kapoor won the Filmfare Best Male Debut award for his role in the movie.

Ishq Vishq Pyaar Vyaar Plot, Storyline

Rajiv played by Shahid Kapoor is a young college going boy who wants to become popular in college. He and his best friend Mambo (Vishal Malhotra) are single and do not have any girlfriend. Danny and Javed make fun of them as they do not have a girlfriend. One day Danny invites Rajiv and Mambo to a party at his beach house under the condition that Rajiv has to come with a girlfriend. With the help of Mambo Rajiv is able to persuade Payal ( Amrita Rao ) his childhood friend and make her believe that he loves her. Payal has soft corner for Rajiv since chilhood and readily believes Rajiv. Rajiv along with Payal and Mambo go to Danny’s beach house for party. There he misbehaves with Payal under the influence of alcohol. Payal comes to know that Rajiv’s love for her was not true. She gets angry and slaps Rajiv in front of everyone. Danny and Javed’s girlfriend’s take Rajiv’s side and persuade Payal not to break up with Rajiv as it was not his fault. Danny and Javed made Rajiv do this. Payal asks for forgiveness from Rajiv but Rajive insists that if she is sorry than she must kiss him in front of everyone. Payal refuses to do so. Rajiv and Payal drift apart. Mambo persuades Rajiv to make up with Payal but he refuses and vows to make the most beautiful girl of college his girlfriend.

Alisha (Shenaz Treasurywala ) is a new girl in the college who belongs to affluent family. Rajiv falls for her and is able to impress her. Rajiv and Alisha start loving each other. Payal on other hand still loves Rajiv and confides her feelings for him to Mambo. Rajiv is infuriated when he finds that Payal is spending more and more time with Mambo. He gets jealous of Mambo and realizes that he actually loves Payal. Alisha too starts envying Payal. She learns that Payal and Rajiv were in relationship before and accuses her of trying to steal Rajiv from her. Mambo argues with Alisha but she does not listens to him. Rajiv and Mambo engage in fight. Sometime later at the fairwell party Rajiv apologizes to Payal. He is under the false impression that Mambo and Payal are in relationship but he realizes that Payal still loves him and she and Mambo were only good friends. He publicly aplogizes to Payal to grabbing the mike and asking Payal for forgivness. In the end Payal embraces Rajiv and the two come together again. Alisha too realizes that Rajiv and Payal are made for each other and apologizes to Payal.
