Pathaan Songs Storyline Music Review

Pathaan is action packed thriller movie starring Shahrukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in lead roles. This movie released in the year 2023 spelled its magic at the box office and became the highest grosser movie of bollywood. Directed by Sidharth Anand who also directed the hugely successful movie “War”. Shahrukh Khan’s comeback movie Pathaan is loaded with daring action sequences, breath taking stunts and refined VFX. Music of the movie is composed by Vishal Sheykhar. 

Pathaan Plot, Storyline

“Ourfit X” a terrorist organization is hired by Pakistani Army General to take revenge from India as he did not like the idea of removing of article 370 from the state of Jammu and Kashmir. Outfit X is headed by Jim (John Abraham) who is an ex-raw agent (raw is a secret agency that works for Indian defence). He too has turned against India as his wife and unborn child were killed due to mishandling of crisis by his agency. 

Nandini Grewal, (Dimple Kapadia) a senior officer and Pathaan (Shahrukh Khan), an ex-raw agent known for his braveness and daredevilry constitute a group of ex raw agents who want to serve the country after retirement. Pathaan and his team fly to Dubai to prevent Outfit X from kidnapping the Indian President who is there to attend a conference.  Pathan and his team are outsmarted by Outfit X as they succeed in their actual plan of kidnapping of India’s eminent scientist Dr. Sahani after a tussle with Pathan and his team.

Pathaan comes to know about the codeword “Raktbeej” which is actually a deadly virus which the Pakistani general wants to use against India. Pathaan reaches Moscow to steal the Raktbeej.  He successfully steals it but is captured by the Police. He is betrayed by Rubai (Deepika Padukone) who conspired with Jim to steal the Raktbeej. When he is being taken to jail by train, he is rescued by Avinash Singh “Tiger” (Salman Khan).

Pathaan meets Rubai in South Africa after a long time. She apologizes for the betrayal and reveals to Pathaan about the deadly virus which the Pakistani general wants to use against India. This virus was created under pressure by Dr. Sahani on Jim’s command. Pathaan and Rubai take one orb of the virus wheras Jim too has one orb of the virus. Dr. Luthra and Nandini are informed by Jim that the virus has already spread in the lab and their effort to make a vaccine is of no use. The laboratory is destroyed by a blast to curb the spread of virus. Pathan comes to know that Saber missiles bought by Jim are in Afhganistan. Pathaan is able to attack Jim’s base. Later Rubai informs Pathaan that raktbeej is not in the missile but in the passenger air plane. Jim and Pathaan indulge in a rigorous fight in the cabin. In the end Pathan overpowers Jim. Pathaan is reappointed in RAW as JOCR head. While Nandni is honoured with Vir Puruskar as she sacrificed her life for nation.

This peppy track is sung by Arijit Singh, Sukriti Kakkar, Vishal and Sheykhar.  Music is composed by Vishal and Sheykhar. This song is choreographed by Bosco Ceaser.  Lyrics are penned by Kumaar. This new hindi song with over 513 million views on youtube is shot in multiple foreign locations.
2. Besharm Rang is the second song from the super hit movie Pathaan. This song has lyrics in hindi and spanish. Sung by Shilpa Rao with elegance. Vishal and Sheykhar have also lent their voice to this popular number. The song has catchy tune composed by Vishal and Sheykhar.  Lyrics in hindi are penned by Kumaar. Spanish lyrics are penned by Vishal Dadlani. This song has over 430 million views on youtube. The song also got into bit of controversy but this did not stop the movie and song from becoming popular.
