Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya is a 1998 bollywood movie starring Salman Khan, Kajol, Arbaz Khan and Dharmendra. This movie is written and directed by Sohail Khan. Kiran Kumar, Anjala Zaveri and Asif Sheikh also play important characters in the film. Music of this film is composed by Jatin Lalit, Himesh Reshammiya and Sajid-Wajid.
Muskaan (Kajol) is a young girl who lives with her elder brother,Vishal (Arbaz Khan) and uncle call Chachu (Dharmendra) in a farm. Both Vishal and Chachu love Muskan dearly and are very protective about her. Muskaan’s friend Ujaala loves Vishal from day one but Vishal ignores her completely. Muskan decides to go to Mumbai to pursue higher education. In Mumbai she meets Suraj (Salman Khan) who is not a very bright student. Suraj starts liking Muskaan and makes efforts to impress her. He succeeds and Muskaan also starts liking him. Vishal makes a visit to Mumbai to meet his sister Muskaan. He is mistaken to be Muskaan’s boyfriend by Suraj and his friends so they confront him and engage in a fight with him. Vishal beats up the gang, later Suraj comes to know about Vishal’s relation with Muskaan and apologizes to Vishal and Muskaan. Vishal is not impressed by Suraj and does not finds him suitable enough to marry his sister Muskaan.
Suraj takes up the challenge to impress Vishal and Chachu. He saves Chachu’s life in an incident. Vishal gives Suraj a chance to prove his love but Suraj again falters. Vishal wants to marry Muskaan to brother of Thakur Vijay Singh (Asif Sheikh) as he thinks that he is suitable boy for his sister. But Thakur Vijay Singh has other intentions, he wants to make Muskaan his brother’s bride just to seek an old revenge from Vishal and his family. Suraj is in a difficult situation as he has to stop Vishal from marrying Muskaan to the wrong guy. Suraj’s family also reach Mumbai. His step mother misbehaves with Muskaan and insults her. Muskaan runs away from there but is caught by Thakur Vijay Singh. Suraj, Vishal, Chachu come to rescue Muskaan from Thakur. Suraj’s stepmother calls the Police and shows her concern about Suraj.In the end Vishal agrees to marry his sister Muskaan to Suraj.
