Bade Dilwala is a bollywood movie released in the year 1999. The movie stars Sunil Shetty, Priya Gill, Archana Puran Singh and Paresh Rawal. This movie is written, produced and directed by Shakeel Noorani. Music is composed by Aadesh Shrivastava.
Ram (Sunil Shetty) is an honest police officer who is very sincere and dedicated to his job and family. He is married to Manthara (Archana Puran Singh), who is a hair dresser by profession. They have a daughter Antara. Manthara is a greedy woman and has high desires. Ram is the one who looks after his daughter and gives her the love of both father and mother. Manthara forces Ram to buy lottery tickets so that she can become rich one day and fulfill all her desires.
Ram one day goes to a restuarant to have some food. He feels obliged to tip the waitress Piya (Priya Gill) with some money but he doesn’t have any money. He promises to Piya that if he wins a lottery he will give half the amount to her or he will come back the next day and give tip to Piya. Fortunately Ram wins a lottery of five crores and being a man true to his words. He gives two and half crores to Piya. His wife Manthara being a greedy woman does not likes this. In the meanwhile Ram and Piya come close to each other and start liking each other. Manthara files a for divorce against Ram in the court. Munnabhai (Paresh Rawal), one of Manthara’s client advises her to invest money in producing a movie but his real intention was to extract money from Manthara. Manthara’s lawyer insults Piya in court and accuses of her being a shameless woman. Ram willfully parts away with all the money to Manthara. In the end Ram and Piya come together and Ram’s daughter also comes with them.
